Groups and Committees

Groups
The following is a list of some of the groups at UUFS. To find out more about them and how to join, please attend a Sunday Service.

• Book Group
• Bridge Club
• Covenant Group
- A UUFS Covenant Group (In some UU congregations it is known as Small Group Ministry) is a group of six to twelve members and experienced facilitators who meet twice a month. Covenant Group meetings have a worship service format, the heart of which is sharing our lives. The goals of the Group are to care for its members, to encourage spiritual growth, and to meet the needs for affirmation and acceptance. Spiritual growth includes deepening our understanding of Unitarian Universalist principles and values and expressing them in the community. Covenant Groups rely on shared leadership, confidentiality, and each member’s commitment to participate. In addition to regular meetings, each Covenant Group periodically performs a service project. Please note that a Covenant Group is not a discussion group or a therapy group.

Scheduling a Room for a personal event
