Guidelines for sending email:
Be sure your Subject line is descriptive!
Readers should be able to tell whether to open your email by
reading only the "Subject" header.
For event reminders, include what and when in the "Subject"
header.
Be aware that your reply will go to all unless you specify otherwise by changing
the "To" header.
Keep each email to a single topic.
Be considerate.
Sign your name.
Avoid personal criticism or responding in anger.
Do not assume readers’ religious or political views are like
your own.
Speak in accordance with our UU Principles.
Limit promotional activity.
Send only two emails to announce an outside event or to
solicit contributions (one per week).
Do not promote any business using the email list.
Responding to a request for a business recommendation is ok.
No SPAM.
Do not forward “chain” emails, virus warnings, or junk email to this group.
No attachments.
Any attachments to email sent to the group will be silently
deleted and the mail forwarded without attachments.
